We have used Maalaea Banyans during a previous trip. Handy to whale watching trips and whale watching from our lanai. Nice beach just down the street. Easy commutes to Kihei, Ka'anapalli, Paia, Walmart and Safeway.

Before we selected this particular condo, we read the reviews. Our experience matched he reviews. We loved the location and the privacy it provided away from the more crowded places in Maui. The beach that's only a 5-minute walk away was wonderful and we knew it would be wonderful as it was occupied by mostly local families. The condo is small but perfect for two people. It was well stocked. Initially, we had issues with the Wi-Fi, but they have instructions on how to deal with them. And it worked!! The fans that they have, in addition to the air conditioning, cooled the whole place down. We didn't think it would at first, but it worked very well. I'm looking forward to coming here again. it's the only place I want to stay when coming to Maui.

I selected this unit because it is centrally-located to explore many parts of the island by car — which worked perfectly. The beautiful views of the bay in your backyard and the gentle sounds of the waves crashing were a highlight of my stay in Maui (the pics are accurate). Pool & hot tub were never too crowded. Kitchen tools & appliances were helpful to have and beach towels, chairs, and coolers are also provided. The washer & dryer w/ detergent came in handy. There’s a small beach behind the building, but a larger one 5-10mins walk further down the road. The only restaurants in walking distance are those at the harbor shops. Check-in instructions were easy to follow, and getting into the unit and getting the parking permit were smooth. As others have said, the AC cools the living area very well, and you may need to use the fans in the bedroom. The bed was super comfy (if you like very soft beds). I did not watch much TV, but they have cable and a Roku. I’d happily stay here again.

This condo was awesome! Definitely small so more than 2 people would be crowed but for a couple, it was amazing! The condo is walking distance from the water and there’s sea turtles that sleep on the beach at night! There is a pool, hot tub and bbq for the condo stayers and they let us choose late check out so that we could hangout here before our late flight. It is walking distance from a market, multiple restaurants, boat tours and souvenir shops. You can get all over the island from here in around 20 min and there’s little to no traffic in this area! We loved big beach, Paia, turtle cove for snorkeling and went to the feast at LELE for a 5 course meal and luau! Highly recommend this area.
