Had a great stay, the place is quiet and secluded, surrounded by natural beauty. We crossed the river everyday with the little boat to go surfing and get to other restaurants. There are some little things that could be improved (cleaning a bit more thoroughly, having kitchen staples) but I’d definitely stay here again! I loved watching the iguanas every day and feeding them produce scraps. Michaell let us use his kayaks which were nice to take down the river. One thing we didn’t realize was that the two bedrooms are like separate units. They have separate locks, one is connected with the kitchen and one bathroom and the other bedroom has its own bathroom.

Very relaxing location in a small town. Surfing and beach is a 3 minute walk. At first we were unsure about staying on the south side of the river but accessing the north side via boat (provided) is very easy. The beach, surf and most of town is north. Michaell was a great host.

si la intención es despejarse, tener unas vacaciones tranquilas y salir de la rutina de ir a las playas comerciales, este es el lugar indicado donde tiene acceso a playa y un pequeño rio así como su propio restaurante por lo que no batallaras por alimentos o si gustas hacer lo propio cuenta con todo lo necesario para poder cocinar. Muy recomendable la verdad.

The location was very nice, we loved the areas along the beach for walking and swimming. The photos on the website do not reflect the actual condition of the place. The casita we stayed in , Azucena, was old and in bad repair, however, it was being renovated as we were staying there! Between the workers pounding, sawing, drilling and generally ripping things up AND the roosters constantly crowing all night long, it was virtually impossible to sleep or nap, and not the peaceful vacation we were hoping for. The roosters need to go, and the casita will eventually be renovated, hopefully not at other guests expense. The restaurant is also in need of renewal, it's dark and a bit unkept, and is the second home for Mexican families who lounge in the restaurant for hours. They serve mostly boring Mexican food, but they could take a hint from Mareta (another local restaurant) and serve more imaginative food with some healthy options. They need a better chef.

The family and the neighbor gest make you feel like home. And as my sons said.. You never want to leave :)!
