Truly unique place that the wife and I loved! We have stayed at many airbnbs but this was definitely the most unique. We couldn’t get over the detail and I loved the nook outside the bedroom, it felt like a treehouse. Would definitely recommend and you couldn’t beat location. Debra even left fresh ground coffee and cookies!

This was a unique and cozy place. We loved that it was only a few blocks walk to downtown, but was still a quiet enough neighborhood to enjoy our morning coffee on the porch. Debra was a great host. We really enjoyed hearing about the history of the house in the quick tour of she gave us when we arrived.

The Recycled House is a gem of a location. Spacious with all the amenities you will need for a lovely stay in Charlottesville. The design of the house is impressive, and Debra clearly takes great pride in hosting. The bed and pull out couch was incredibly comfortable with luxurious linens. A well-equipped kitchen ensured we could meet our needs even though we were excited to try the C’ville restaurant scene. Fresh ground coffee and delicious cookies in the jar made for a perfect stay. You will be thrilled to stay at TRH—don’t hesitate to book!

Debra is a gracious and thoughtful hostess! The Recycled House is a fun experience in a great location! She was so sweet to even bring cookies for the kids - and fresh local coffee for me! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

It’s fantastic. We had family here from Ireland for our son’s wedding. They were charmed by the house and appreciated the unique features and history of the Recycled House. Debra provided extra touches of hospitality, including some coffee from our favorite local coffee business. We were able to sleep the family comfortably and enjoyed sitting on the back terrace eating fresh figs from her tree. I highly recommended this beautiful home and host
