We enjoyed our stay, and the house was clean and comfortable and an easy drive to town. Lovely views and it was nice and quiet. Our younger children had some trouble with the ladder stairs to the upper bedrooms. We also didn’t realize two bedrooms were in a another part of the house with a separate entrance. Other than that, we would recommend it as a nice stay!

We stayed at several AirBnBs during our trip to Iceland and this home by far had the best views. It was a lovely cottage and everything was as described, clean, and easy to use. We were two families (4 adults, 3 kids) and everyone had their own space if they wanted it. A few notes that may be helpful for other families - there is a washer in the main bath and the dryer is a walk around the back of the house in a basement room not suitable for children. The stairs to the attic rooms is more like a ladder (which the 7 and 8 year old loved but we had to keep the 2 year old off of) and the stairs to the basement bedrooms is through a trap door in the floor, again more like a ladder than stairs. It was fine and a fun feature but requires agility. You can also enter the basement rooms through an external door which was helpful for luggage. The attic rooms could get warm (we visited in July) and not all the bedrooms had blackout curtains. Overall a wonderful stay we recommend!

Absolutely amazing host! So responsive and helpful! The location was absolutely stunning. Incredible. Cozy home that looks just as pictures. All we needed to enjoy our stay. Comfy beds. We want to come and stay again!
