Everything we hoped for and more! John and Lisa were exceptional hosts providing us with clear directions and many recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. Our favorites: Da Roberta-pasta, O’Reillys-fish n chips, Sanyo-Chinese, Gourmet Food Parlor-brunch, Seven-wings, Handsome Burger-burgers. The apartment was comfortable and quiet other than the front entry gate 😏 The breeze from open windows or door and view from living room and balcony cant be beat. Definitely preferable to the craziness of Galway center. We had visited Galway before and just across the bridge into Salthill. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find so much more available in Salthill this time: Aquarium just in front of us, promenade across the street, beach or kayak access, restaurants behind us, easy transport to Galway city center (2 euros). All this within 5 minute walk! John or Lisa were always quick to respond to any questions. Hope one of John’s listings will be available next time we visit.

John and Lisa's place is exactly how it looks in the pictures and the description. It is beautiful, has an incredible view, and is a great location. They gave lots of great recommendations and were responsive about minor issues. The kitchen has exactly what is in the description, no more. Our biggest annoyance was that every single door (but one) is a fire door, so they slam shut if you don't close them carefully. The building felt very secure. Parking was a bit of a challenge to find on the street every night.

This was such a beautiful apt overlooking the salthill prom. So so clean, loved our stay here, will definitely love to return. We needed a hairdryer and they immediately dropped one of for us, so efficient. thank you so much.

location was perfect for everything in salthill, easy walking distance to all attractions. lovely apartment. parking was an issue on the bank holiday weekend we stayed. and noise from the apartment above us which is also an air bnb which was sorted when I asked the residents to keep the level down on 2 occasions. All in all a great location
