Henry and Barbara have the most adorable cottages we’ve seen. It felt like we were staying in Germany with fairytale touches that made us feel special. We appreciated that there were no televisions to distract us. There was a slight miscommunication on our part with them, and even so, they were willing to accommodate us last minute. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Pros: Quaint and unusual little German-like setting which was lovely. Quiet and private. Great breakfast. Cons: Slightly longer walk than expected, slugging luggage across dusty field to the “cabin”. The grounds are in need of a little attention, but the drought probably doesn’t help. There was some type of air freshener hidden somewhere which was overwhelmingly strong. It would have been best to provide us the option of unplugging it, as it really messed with our sinuses and lingered on our clothes long after we departed. Overall a nice stay!

Gorgeous and cute little cottage, perfect for a weekend getaway. My partner and I were able to get some much needed one-on-one time with each other, and our hosts were friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to booking again!

Location is right between Fredericksburg and all the wineries - very convenient. Super cute cottage. Lots of thoughtful touches such as wine, chocolates, coffee, tea. Beautiful decor - we felt like in a fairy tale indeed! There is a loft with a bed and a double bed downstairs. Not suitable for very small children. But it was a girls weekend for me and my sisters so it was perfect!

This place is magical! The entire property is so unique and charming. Everything was clean and they were kind enough to deliver us breakfast. Henry and Barbara were such great hosts, we will be back for sure! Highly recommend.
