I have no hesitation in recommending staying at Dorothy's place. We stayed there as part of a two night stay for a wedding which was in Windermere town. The location was very convenient for the town but also very secluded, quiet with lovely gardens and views. The accommodation was a home from home feel, the interior was just lovely and fitted the location and history of the accommodation. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and everything you could possibly require for your stay. The bed was super comfortable with a awesome shower and separate bath. The information pack was comprehensive providing information about Dorothy and the accommodation which was fascinating. We would not hesitate to go back.

We had the absolute best time staying at Dorothy’s Place! It was the perfect location and is rich with history, it was super interesting learning about Dorothy herself. Both Julie & Nigel were extremely helpful and such friendly people…with the loveliest dogs :) would definitely come back & would recommend to anyone!
