Wisteria Lodge is comfortably enveloping. Have stayed twice (both in Spring). Well equipped for a weekend. Enjoy waking up , stepping out and taking in the mountain air and the smell of rose wafting in from the rose garden. A wood fire if it’s a little cool and an open fireplace that can serve as a BBQ under the wisteria pergola (also a gas BBQ). No real need to go offsite if relaxation with a good book and a glass of wine is your aim, given the extensive gardens and tree-lined walks through the estate, but there a number of extensive formal gardens to visit in the immediate area (check Mt Wilson website for opening hours), the Turkish Bath House museum and various walking trails.

This was our third visit to Dennarque. Again it more than lived up to our expectations. Incredibly beautiful, peaceful surroundings, Spring flowers, and delightful accommodation in Wisteria cottage. We look forward to our next time with you.

Not being able to ask questions over the phone made it difficult. With no reception or wifi made it difficult to communicate. The onr requirement i asked was not supplied.

Great spot, perfect to see the autumn colours in Mt Wilson. Very responsive host. Make sure the hot water is turned on at the master switch in the kitchen before you hop in - very chilly otherwise!
