Great barn conversion in a rural setting but walkable to Alfriston. Quiet yet close to main roads for easy access to surroundings. We were met and welcomed by Sarah Jane which was nice.

The house is in an unbelievably idyllic setting and worked perfectly for us as a family of four, travelling with grandparents and a dog. The easy walking distance to Alfriston and the access to the South Downs met our needs, and ensured the children had lots of space to play. It would be hard to match the space the house offers inside, and it is by far the most well-equipped house we have stayed in, particularly with regard to the kitchen. All in all, a wonderful stay.

This is a very special place, an amazing big space that is even more impressive than in the pictures. The surroundings are beautiful, and you can walk to a pretty village that has pubs, restaurants and shops in 15 minutes. Sarah Jane was very helpful and laid back, we felt very at home and were really sad to leave!
