Perfect for what we needed. A clean place to rest after our day hikes. My son forgot his wallet and they went out of their way to help get it to us.

Stegbones is a perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s not the Ritz, but that’s what makes it the charming, although a bit rustic, getaway that it is. The owner, Gary, is very gracious and accommodating. Segbones is “Old Florida” - woodsy, quiet and beautiful. I’m already planning my next adventure there.

The location of the cabin was ideal. They have an amazing deck with chairs to watch the sunset and sunrise over the water. They also have a nice dock if you are bringing a boat. Everyone was very nice and friendly. They did attempt to add an additional $25 cleaning fee after we booked our stay and we were not given enough time to cancel if we were not in agreement with it. However, they did waive the fee when we questioned it. The cabin was clean but the appliances were outdated and rusty. The water in the cabin smelled awful and permeated the entire cottage when any of the faucets were turned on. If you are booking here, know that it will be a very rustic and no-frills experience.

Just book this! You will not regret it. I loved it and hope to be back soon! Everything was very clean, well stocked, views were great and Catherine was awesome!
