*** This is a basement only rental *** Pros: 1. great location on the water, quiet area, local bars and restaurants are great. 2. lots of great parking 3. dock is awesome for fishing 4. big porches, great for games with the kids and hanging out 5. The local contact was nice, pleasant and responded promptly. 6. lots of great wildlife, deer, turkeys, etc Cons: 1. this rental is for the basement only. You cannot enter the main floor as it is closed off for private residence. Their is only one access door to the basement. Smells like mold, hot. 2. Not cleaned properly inside or on the porches. Dust, dirt, and bugs everywhere 3. The yard was temporarity under repair, so no grass. 4. The dock states 3 slips, but 1 is used by the owner, so only 2 were available. 5. The kitchen sink pipes kept breaking flooding the kitchen. bedroom/ bathroom door did not properly close 6. the trash cans were full when we arrived, so no where to store trash 7. kitchen so full of leftover stuff/food.

We were not under the impression that it was in the basement of a home. It had a musky smell that they tried to cover with air fresheners. The living room furniture was worn out and very uncomfortable. The bed linen (comforter) was a bit worn and the pillows had an odor. Found a spider living in the water spout dispenser on the refrigerator and several big roaches in the unit. You could not exit the back patio from the basement. The key pad stopped working so we were not able to leave the unit until the next day when it was fixed. We communicated with the lady and she called the owner then no communication until the next day when I texted her back. She came and replaced the door knob with a key entry, later that morning a man showed up to fix the keyless lock. The town was nice and the food was good at the restaurants we visited. The yard needed maintenance as did the dock area, grass grown up and palms in the walkway. It needs some updating and freshening up. Just our opinion.
