We had a lovely week in the property, everything was as it was described, Jeremy was flexible with check in and check out and checked in with us during our stay. The house was spotless throughout and everything worked as it should have. We can highly recommend Jeremy and his house in Penzance. Matt & Family

We horoughly enjoyed our stay. On street parking was difficult so the nearby car park is a good option. Also, only for old folk this comment, there are many stairs to the upper double bedroom!

The house was very clean and just the right size for the three of us that visited. Jeremy was prompt to respond and easy to communicate with which is always a good thing. His detailed description of the house was very helpful when looking for it, the location is close to everything. We were, however, very surprised by the fact that despite paying a £60 cleaning fee we had to strip the bedding, take out the bins, and start the dishwasher before checking out. This was my first time having to do this in an airbnb (we even spent a couple days in Devon in an airbnb before coming to Penzance and were not asked to do this). We did everything we were asked out of respect to the owner, but we did not appreciate it especially because it was not mentioned in the listing. If you don’t mind such rules and the host reminding you of it a couple times then this is a nice house to stay in for a couple nights while visiting the surrounding areas.

Great place, Great host, great location with easy walking distance to town

Key lockbox hard to open . The house was freezing on the first night and I couldn’t find the thermostat. I message the host who advised me it was on Summer settings and it was controlled remotely by him . I replied it was mid Spring and we were freezing . So he turned the heat on . The last day it was too hot and we could not turn it down or off . So you have no way of controlling the temperature that you want . That’s ridiculous. The host had the cheek to message me with checking. Out instructions. I had to strip the beds and along with all the towels place in a bag near the front door . No way was I doing that after paying a £60 cleaning fee . Went to put the garbage out and the bin was sealed saying read rules in the book . For gods sake who is this person. This host has put me off using Airbnb again .
