This is a very genuine Old Venetian Merchants home full of beautiful furnishing, pictures and antiques, in many ways the pictures do not do it justice. If it wasn't for the modern devices you could easily be stepping back in time. It was spacious and cool in the lounge area with its Grand piano which still didn't look out of place and the outside garden was a delight with areas of shade as well. Breakfast was served in formal dining area where you had plenty of choice : Juice, warm pastry, fruit, toast, cereal all kinds of tea and coffee. We stayed in the twin which besides the beds had a small seating area and table, a dressing room with masses of storage and a large bathroom. The double bedroom with the canal view wasn't available for our stay but I would recommend that as well. Please remember this is not a five star hotel - this is a beautiful time capsule being presented and preserved in a most sensitive way.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl bei Nick gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist einfach ein Traum und das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Das gemeinsame Essen am großen Tisch war wunderbar und die anderen Gäste waren zauberhaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfect place to stay in Venice. Extremely close (6 minute walk) to the Piazzelle Roma train station which made getting from to and from the airport very convenient when carrying luggage. Yet the perfect location to get to all the key places - 15 minute walk or so from St. Mark’s Square. Nick is a great host and the communication and check-in is flawless. The air bnb is also stunning. Would absolutely recommend booking this place - I loved it!!!
