The space is just beautiful and peaceful with a great view. Quick access to the River House wine bar was nice too. Cozy place!

This is the place to stay, folks! Deb and Derek's barn suite is beautiful! It was very clean. My sister loves the river and trains; she was in heaven. We watched the barges on the river and the trains crossing the river bridge. The view can be enjoyed inside because of all the windows or outside sitting on the covered deck. The two lovely bedrooms each have their own private bathroom. Deb and Derek were super hosts. When I reached out to them with questions, they responded immediately. We felt welcome and that they were just as interested and vested in us having a lovely stay as we were. We didn't want to leave.

We could not have landed in a better place for the 2024 eclipse! The suite was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed. Our hosts were very communicative and made us feel at home. The restaurant on site is lovely and worth a visit alone for the fantastic view of the Mississippi. There were a few quirks, which did not take away from our stay but required some minor adjustments since we were travelling with our toddler. The toilet paper is a roll with no hole, so no wall dispenser, and we needed to assist him each bathroom visit. Also, the stairs leading up only have railing on one side, so the trips up and down were taken slowly and cautiously. All told we loved this place and wished we had booked longer! Our toddler threw a fit when we left and couldn't understand why we weren't going to live there. Definitely a rare find in the area!

Debs place was awesome, so clean and well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

This place was beautiful. So peaceful and relaxing. All the comforts from home. Deb and her husband were great hosts. Very responsive to questions and very friendly. Definitely a must stay for anyone that is wanting to relax and enjoy the nature of the river but close enough to town for shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!
