This adorable camp is located directly on Norway Lake, with 100 feet feet of water frontage. Whether you prefer wading into the water or jumping off the dock into deep water, this is the place for you. Spend your vacation relaxing in the hammock, drinking coffee on the 3 season porch, fishing, kayaking, playing yard games, watching the sunset from the floating picnic table at the dock, and cozying up around the Solo Stove campfire. This adorable Maine “camp” is located in Norway, Maine on Lake Pennesseewassee (also called Norway Lake) and has 100 feet of water front lake access. You can walk down the slope into the lake, or jump into deep water off the dock. Feel free to enjoy the floating picnic table at the dock. Unfortunately, due to insurance reasons, we are unable to allow renters to drive the picnic table on the lake. Please note this camp is in the woods in Maine, so there will be bugs, nature, and wildlife. You’ll often see and hear loons on the lake, there are lots of fish, and we often see deer on the camp road. Inside the camp on the first floor, you will find a bedroom with a full size bed, as well as a nicely stocked kitchen, dining area, living room, and bathroom, as well as a 3 season porch off the living room with a pull out loveseat. The second floor bedroom is appointed with a queen bed and a twin daybed with a twin trundle underneath. The open loft bedroom has a full size bed and two twin size beds. On the lakeside under the house, you'll find kayaks, corn hole boards, and a Solo Stove for campfires. We welcome you to use the kayaks, but please let us know in advance as we will need all guests who intend to use the kayaks to sign liability waivers. Please note that we provide bedding and towels, but since there is no washer/dryer in the unit, you may want to bring extra towels for the lake. We have a drying line hung between two trees for drying life jackets/towels/bathing suits, etc. There is a gas grill outside and you’ll find grilling tools in the bottom cabinet by the fridge. We have a propane tank there and will try to provide at least a starter amount of propane for your use. There is also a charcoal grill, but you will need to provide your own charcoal.
