we really enjoyed our stay at the shepherd's hut. Maureen and her husband were extremely welcoming, and offered lots of suggestions for placed to eat and things to do. The hut was beautifully clean and very warm/comfortable. and th gardens and surrounding countryside were stunning. we would highly recommend staying.

I couldn't have had a better stay, everything was perfect.. maureen and mike were so so lovely and left so many gorgeous little touches like homemade bread and jam and so wonderful to meet some of the resident animals.. lovely picturesque walks nearby and a great location for snowdonia! Couldn't recommend this beautiful place enough!

Maureen and Mike were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful but also respectful of our space and not invasive at all. The hut is so lovely and cosy and the outdoor space with the fire pit bbq is a great addition. We would not hesitate to go back. It’s a 20 minute drive from Snowdon and the local village and pub are great. The wildlife and animals make this stay, especially Bailey. Thank you Maureen and Mike

Maureen and Mike were both lovely to meet. The hut was a perfect location, close by to castles and Snowdonia hiking. Highly recommend!

Can’t recommend this place enough! We wanted a tranquil, romantic getaway and this was the perfect place for that. The location is ideal, waking up to pure bliss, so much woodland to explore, and lots of surrounding villages and beaches just a short drive away. We climbed snowdon for sunrise and the Llanberis path was just 15 minutes away so it was ideal. Mike and Maureen are the perfect hosts, so friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Special mention for all of the animals too, Bailey the dog and the cheeky hen. We will 100% be back!
