Christi could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. When we come back it will feel like a family visit as much as a vacation.

Christi and Rick are extremely responsive/communicative. The trip was over a beautiful 4th of July week in the peaceful town of Silverbeach. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a family getaway.

Where do I begin, so many wonderful things to talk about! From the moment we arrived we knew we were in good hands. Christi met us out front and gave us a tour of the beautiful property, ending with bringing in the crab pots which she then steamed for us to enjoy. My kids were so excited to see the whole process and try crab for the first time, which was a big hit. We had a few hiccups during our stay (ie: lost my car keys 🤦🏻‍♀️ And had a terrible toothache), and Christi and Rick helped with both problems swiftly. We loved being able to see the ocean from the big window of the tiny house, and the short walk to the water was so nice especially with young kids. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming, kayaking, fishing, and crabbing on the water. Christi has everything on the property you could think of needing. Life jackets, paddles, assortment of boards/boats, fishing gear and bait, a playground for kids, a hammock and lots of seating around the beautiful property, a golf cart for your personal use, a hose to rinse off the sand, washer dryer, ice machine, cleaning products, games, and so much more! We utilized just about everything there during our stay, and thoroughly enjoyed the use of a golf cart to take rides through the peaceful neighborhood. The kids and I LOVED being able to talk and spend time with Christi during our stay. She let my boys help feed her koi in the mornings, made a fire for us to enjoy some s’mores, and was right there whenever we had a need or a question. The tiny house itself had everything we needed and was so cute and cozy! Cooking was a breeze, we had plenty of room for the 4 of us, the AC worked wonderfully which was a blessing as it was over 90 and gorgeous most days we stayed. The beds, my gosh, SO COMFY. Christi I’m going to need the name of that mattress topper, I’m going to be dreaming about that bed! This was our absolute most favorite vacation yet, and we plan on making it at least a yearly tradition to come back and see our new friends Christi and Rick ❤️

Wow! What an experience! Christi went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and as pleasant as possible. We were driving a golf car, having a campfire on her private sandy beach, swimming and had a wonderful time. She even allowed us to catch crabs on her bay and cooked them for our lunch and shared some fruits with us! Christi was very concerned about one of the previous reviews that complained about the uncomfortable mattress in the bedroom. We don't agree with that opinion: we think the mattress was very comfortable. Anyway, she decided to replace the box spring, which might have been causing some noises from the bed. This only shows how much she cares about the comfort of her guests. The place is around 20 minutes from the grocery shop and restaurants. It's not a big deal with some advance planning, or simply driving your car if necessary. In return you get a very quiet neighborhood, a fully private (!) sandy beach and most importantly a wonderful host. If you're looking for nightlife, visit a city instead. Overall, this was surely one of the best AirBnB experiences that we had. Thank you, Christi, you for sharing your home with us!

Christi is a nice person and good host. There were good things and not so good things about our experience. The good - walking distance to the beach, ton of amenities (kayaks, crab traps, crab cooking pots, a golf cart, some fishing gear, ice maker, laundry, grills), fires on the beach, and maybe some other things. This place may be good for you if you do not plan on leaving during your stay. The not so good - the bed is VERY uncomfortable and loud especially for 2 people, definitely bring your own fishing rods as only 1 of the supplied ones was usable, and most of all the location is not great. 20-30 minute drive to the nearest grocery store, and there’s not many local restaurants or shops to explore during a night out. Make sure you bring enough food to grill outside unless you feel like driving out a few times. Also, several reviews said the wifi is fast - it’s not so good especially if you need to work remotely like I do. Christi was nice overall and was kind enough to fry some fish for us and give us fishing bait, but we left our stay a night early (the first time we’ve ever left an air bnb early) because we needed a good nights rest and a comfortable bed. Depending on your type of vacation, this may be good for you. If you like the simple comforts such as a bed and things nearby, it may be worth exploring elsewhere.
