Nestled in a forest clearing on our idyllic smallholding, you'll wake to the sound of birdsong in this peaceful log cabin setting. Tranquility, surrounded by nature, whilst still being a short hop to local amenities and countless beautiful beaches and attractions in the isle of purbeck. With no light pollution, one of the highlights will be soaking under the stars in the log-fuelled cedar hot tub with a glass of something cold to round off a perfect day. Most people say they don't want to leave! Sika lodge is an amazing space to be in, it has wood powered hot water and a log burner to keep you cosy and warm. Your own private garden and a log fired Scandinavian hot tub, bbq and fire pit. Room for 2 adults and 2 children. There is also a brand new wood-fired Private Sauna, complete with cold plunge and jungle showers availble for hire during your stay (extra booking cost). We offer three types of breaks The Long weekender - Friday, Saturday and Sunday night The Mid week escape - Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday night The Full Week (7nights) starting on a Monday or Friday Sika Lodge is completely self contained with it's own garden and direct access into the forest. We allow our guests privacy, but we are always about for a hello and to answer any questions as we live on site. There's a lovely country pub over the road a short stumble away and lots of wonderful amenities in the local River Market town of Wareham, which is only 1.5 miles away (we are also only 1.2 miles - ashort cab hop - from Wareham train station). The lodge has a double bed and a double mezzanine bunk (suitable for 5yr olds+ at parents discretion).The sofa also converts into a double bed if needed. Linens and towels provided.
