Maria was the perfect host. She was there to give us friendly welcome and show us round. The location of the stables is so tranquil and just beautiful. One morning we sat and watched a dear in the garden having its breakfast! The stables are tastefully decorated, the beds extremely comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need. I would recommend staying here for a peaceful break and its a short walk into the town of Wells.

A really wonderful stay in the stables. Maria was so helpful and responded quickly to any questions. She recommended some lovely restaurants where the food was exceptional. The stables are beautifully decorated and had everything you needed. It was very private. There was a wonderful walk through fields into Wells. A really super stay.

The Stables was spotlessly clean and was well equipped with everything you would need . In the kitchen lots of helpful accessories for cooking and eating including a coffee machine and some coffee pods. Marias instructions on how to find the house were helpful and she was very friendly. As we were there for New Years Eve there was also very thoughtfully some champagne in the fridge as well. Wells is a very impressive place to visit - recommend the cathederal tour which was a hour well spent for all the history and stories. Walk to Wells across the fields really is 20 minutes - even in the wind and rain in January. Would also recommend Bistro Lotte in Frome. Heating kept us warm and cosy and were able to log-in to watch movies in Netflix and Amazon. A very nice few days break in the country.

We had the most wonderful stay at Maria’s beautiful accommodation, fab location , cosy with stunning views to wake up to , we took our dog who loved the walks especially the one into wells, thank you for making us feel most welcome , we will be back. Nat and Sue
