Our stay was very relaxing. The surrounding is stunning, we had northern lights and everything can be reached easily. The house has a self filling hot tub and is very well equipped as well as clean and cosy. We felt very welcome there.

It was a beautiful comfortable house and the surroundings were also beautiful. It was well located. We could do many small day trips during our stay and then come back to a cozy house.

Just Wow!! I thought the cabin was larger than I expected. The windows around the back of the cabin allowed for a 180 degree view of the surrounding countryside. I loved watching the sunrise from the comfy reclining chairs. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Hallfríður’s home is a gem. It overlooks a valley with several (non active volcanoes) the area is breathtaking and excellent for trips to sites on the Golden Circle. You feel that you are invited into a family home (their pride and joy). The beds are comfy, the house is airy and light. We did not use the hottub but it must be nice, because it overlooks their little orchard and the stunning garden (a moss covered hiltop) Would love to come back someday.
