Great little spot in the centre of old town. Walkable area with a historic feel. The faint music at night coming from whatever bar/club is nearby was so minimal is wasn’t an issue at all, don’t let that deter you from a great spot!
This beautiful location is easily accessible to all types of restaurants, historical walks, and events in Petersburg. I stay at Joe’s place often and will return whenever it is available. If you haven't stayed here, you miss the best spot in Petersburg. As a former resident of Petersburg, I highly recommend his Airbnb if you want the local experience.

Beth and I started this renovation thing in 2007 and caught the bug. Now it consumes us for totally different reasons. Beth loves buying things and I like physically doing the renovations. When we found out about Airbnb it drew Beth into my hobby allowing her to shop for furnishings for the furnished apartments. Her thing is she won’t have anyone stay in a place she isn’t willing to live in herself, so you can be sure that the apartments will not be just run of the mill. We both work full time so travel is rare. Our experience with Airbnb is strictly as a host. We enjoy hosting and have met some very interesting people doing so. Beth and I are very active in the area and love sharing as much information about it. We are available to answer questions or direct you to places you may want to see. We are out and about in town on a regular basis. Life is short, make the most of it!!!
