We booked this property for 2 days during the New year. It is an amazing property with back waters running right behind. To start with, booking and requests were very well coordinated with Mr.Bantwal sir and his son Gagan. Accommodated everything that we asked for, clean and clear communications. Very well elaborated property tour by Gagan. This property has multiple peaceful spots within. Excellent stay to spend some serene time with friends and family. Breakfasts were amazing and we got some extra cakes and payasam on the occasion of new year. Gagan took us on a boat trip for a very minimal cost and provided local recommendations which were amazing. Thanks for hosting us. We had an unbelievable time during our stay.

The place was very good and scenic. It is a good place to stay away from the city chaos. Having said that we had to check out the place the very next day as we were not happy when the host entertained other guests before we checked in. The host promised that the entire property would be given to us for the dates we had booked which were not met.

It was such a lovely and tranquil place to stay with incredibly welcoming hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed, and even went above and beyond what was promised. Our little ones, a 7-month-old baby and a 2.5-year-old pup, absolutely adored the place, and it brought us so much joy. If you're seeking a serene, beautiful, nature-immersed, and authentic stay in Kannur, we highly recommend it. A big thank you to Doctor Saihl and Shoba for hosting us!

I rarely write a bad review, but the location is terrible. There is public construction going on right outside. The house is a very old one and has very badly maintained surroundings. There is a cow dung pit and ill-maintained water bodies with algae all over the surroundings that result in unimaginable mosquito attacks at night. I left the place after one day. The host never even honored the refund policy after we left the place, so I had to engage Airbnb to get my refund. You can also read reviews about the place on search engines that would explain a lot of other people who had the same experience. I wish I had seen them earlier.
