Our stay was perfect. This house is a gem in a beautiful setting. We had everything we needed and more. Our family was right at home and enjoyed every minute.
Thank you to Fivos and Elena for looking after us, we had a wonderful stay in your home. The house was spotless with everything we needed. The air con was essential and very effective to cool warm evenings. Kamini where the house is located is around 25 minutes walk from the main port or a 2 minute water taxi. we hung out mainly in Kamini beach and the restaurant Costello most days which is perfect for drinks and snacks. It is more peaceful than the port so a great escape. We went to the port every evening and had three great meals at Caprice, the Mexican in the harbour and the rooftop restaurant ticked into the corner. Also check out the cocktails at the pirate bar. Grocery shopping is all in the port and a challenge but you can also have food and water delivered. Just ask Elena!
This place deserves more than 5 stars. It’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed at, set in the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited! The house itself is immaculate and stylish with every amenity possible even food delivery via mule! Yes, there are many steps ~ Hydra is like that, but it’s worth the climb, it truly is. I also adored the little pebbly beach which is just a stones throw away from the house where you can choose to sit on the beach itself or purchase one of the (again, super stylish) sun loungers and have a coffee or maybe lunch or supper at the beautiful restaurant bar. So local. And the views!! Wow! We (family of five) walked to the harbour virtually every day or evening ~ shops to die for and so many restaurants to choose from. I could go on but in other words this place is pure magic. Perfect destination. Thank you Fivos. And thank you Elena for being the best and friendliest host. Will return.
