This spot is about location, location, location. Once inside we found a wall of windows facing the ocean. It was like our own private viewing room. One can see a large expanse of the slough which is alive with bird life. Unlike any other place we've stayed at on the coast, this wasn't about rolling waves and beaches, but about a protected bay with wetland nearby. Bedrooms were comfortable, but not ritzy. Bathroom was cramped, but the shower has a nice new insert. Beautiful granite countertops in the kitchen make it feel upscale. So nice to have a full fridge/freezer and oven. There is even a full sized stacked washer/dryer. Hints: Bring your preferred K-cups. Note that the property to the left when facing the bay is a narrow strip of private land. (We accidentally thought their picnic table belonged to the house but were nicely corrected). The key box is hidden on the railing as you approach the house. Bring your own life vests if needed. Beautiful spot, rain or shine.

This is a great, comfortable, beach cabin, with phenomenal views. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking dinners in. Good spot to launch kayaks, and great birding. We really enjoyed our weekend stay.

Had a good stay at Kristen’s! Check in was easy, inside was small but cozy, kitchen was updated, and beautiful ceiling to floor windows in the living room that really sell the place. Only comments are that the outside appearance and neighborhood don’t match inside but that’s why you don’t judge book by its cover. Service can be wonky at first with no WiFi to fall back on but it’s okay after a while. Overall enjoyed my stay.
