We celebrated my wife's 50th birthday with friends and family and looked for a historic villa in Tuscany. This beautiful home was exactly that, very spacious, beautifully appointed rooms, lots of antiques and a fantastic kitchen. The open floor plan made that everyone was feeling at home. The pool is stunning with its views over the Tuscan hills and at night we even made our own pizzas in the rustic wood fired pizza oven. Candle lights, some Brunello wine and what more can you wish for... We had an amazing experience and hope that one day we will be back. Lost of gratitude to Tiziana and her husband for being such gracious and amazing hosts. You look for a villa in Tuscany? This is the one you want!

Dit was een prachtig huis met een mooi groot zwembad, voldoende buitenruimtes om te aperitieven, eten, relaxen, … met een grote groep. Ook de kamers en ensuite badkamers waren dik in orde voor 6 koppels. Helaas hadden we wat problemen met de airco’s die het niet altijd goed deden in de kamers en de boiler die het meer dan een paar keer heeft laten afweten waardoor we enkel koude douches konden nemen. Tiziana en haar man hebben echter telkens actie ondernomen en lieten meer dan eenmaal een elektricien en loodgieter komen dus waren zeker van goede wil. Helaas heeft het niet mogen baten vermits het meerdere keren defect bleef. Hoewel het airco verbruik apart werd aangerekend aan €0,5/kWh hebben ze een deel van deze meerkost laten vallen door het ongemak met de afwezigheid van warm water. De communicatie met Tiziana en haar man was heel hartelijk. Ze spreken geen Engels maar we hebben ons kunnen behelpen in het Frans. Algemeen waren we erg tevreden over deze villa.

This villa is beautifully secluded near the city of Arezzo. It was a 15 minute drive to the downtown train station, which meant we were able to take the train to Rome on an outing. The place itself has all of the charms of an old style villa. The pool itself is exactly as advertised and was cleaned every morning, which I have never seen anyone do before. There's also a selection of wine to imbibe (for a price) including some Chianti Classico. Our family of 8 adults were able to fit nicely into 5 of the 6 bedrooms, and a plus about this space is that each bedroom came with its own bathroom. One thing to keep in mind is that there are no ground floor bedrooms, which proved to be somewhat challenging for my grandmother. Air conditioning costs extra, but was really reasonably priced. For our entire 1 week stay of constant nighttime running, it came out to 40 euros. (P.S. To use the aircon, make sure to point the remote at the aircon unit). Overall, a wonderful place to get away!

As Granny and Grandpa we gathered our four married children and three young Grandchildren to Tiziana’s. The elegant large villa swallowed us nicely and even provided some private space for work or rest. Tiziana set up the accommodation and dining specifically for our 13 so that we could dine in or outside. Beautiful, large garden and pool. Every amenity for full on sun or rain. Large kitchen which encouraged experimentation. Traditional, kept up to date, no bling. Pool cleaned each day and pool side a delight. The whole property felt safe and secure and very private. Tiziana lives over past the trees so not on top of us but always there for us. She was helpful at all times. She and the villa helped us feel relaxed. If we can manage the family logistics we will certainly visit this villa again.

We had a great time at Tiziana’s beautiful villa. The location has stunning views and is perfect for relaxing by the pool. A highlight was the pizza oven and local wine stocked in the villa. The villa was spotlessly clean with screens and air conditioning, all in good working order. Tiziana is lovely and was helpful with all of our questions. The only notes for improvement could be ensuring soap in the washrooms and more kitchen utensils like baking trays and mixing bowls. We had a wonderful time and would fully recommend. Thank you!
