I stayed for 2 nights in Effie’s room. The inn is beautiful and filled with numerous antiques. The room was extremely clean with a decent size private bath and 2 four poster beds. The screened in porch is lovely on a hot day. The breakfast was delicious and sitting in a formal dining room with candles and roses was a treat. I highly recommend staying in the countryside of New Marlborough as Anita is a magnificent host.

Anita is a lovely host! Very accommodating and knows a lot of cool spots to visit nearby. You get to hear the cows mooing in the pasture in the morning!

Anita's home is stunningly beautiful and rich with history. She welcomed us into her family's home and created an atmosphere in which her guests got to know each other over a delicious breakfast that we lingered over, talking and sharing stories and finding connections. My mother and I had been separated by the pandemic and the 3000 miles between us, and Anita's place was just what we needed to unwind and reconnect. Anita made sure we had everything we needed, made excellent recommendations for dinner, and shared her knowledge of the area. Thanks for making our weekend so special!
