This property is truly special, and worth spending time relaxing in. On our first morning we were greeted with a few dozen deer grazing on the back lawn while sipping our coffee. We fired up the hot tub and took in the crispness of a fresh morning up country. It was also nice to have two different outdoor fire pit options while taking in the views. Great welcome basket in our room, peaceful community living space with Hawaiian music in the background, coffee, drinks, and water station, and spectacular room (Pele). We had great breakfast down the hill in Haiku at Baked on Maui down, and wood oven pizza at The Magic Oven also in Haiku. Breakfast onsite from our host Josh was great as well. The Kahakapao Trail Loop hike is also literally up the street. Thank you!

Our stay at the North Shore Lookout was a truly unforgettable experience. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. But what really made our stay special were the incredible views of the West Maui Mountains and North shore of Maui while getting a chance to recharge & slow down life for a little bit while exploring a new part of the island. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. We accidentally texted the wrong number to reserve breakfast, but the hosts were happy to accommodate us. The social breakfasts they hosted every morning were superb and a great way to meet other travelers and locals. It felt like a little escape from society, where we could connect with others and share stories over delicious food and drinks. Overall, I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for an incredibly unique place to stay with stunning views and a good sense of community

Staying at this gem was definitely needed for our souls! Makawao is a beautiful city and the North Shore Lookout just made our stay in Maui even more beautiful! You truly feel at home and honestly we really felt supported even though it felt like it was just my husband and I there for our 5 night stay. We stayed in the Pele Suite and it was just as described on the site. It was clean and comfortable! The breakfasts were super delicious. Shannan and Josh are amazing hosts. The place is spectacular. Like a little piece of heaven right here on earth. Everything is close by even though you feel like you’re far away from everything. Definitely check out the Forrest up the street. It is so beautiful and serene.

This Airbnb was such a beautiful and tranquil oasis! The house itself was exactly as advertised and very clean! The property was stunning and the hosts/breakfast was amazing. I definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking to experience Maui in its fullest!

Many Mahalo' s Shannon and Josh. Wonderful location, close to Makawao, and the North Shore. Breakfasts were amazing and the settling was perfect for our 26th Wedding Anniversary. We will most definitely be back very soon for another visit.
