We had a wonderful time staying at Tim and Susan’s place. It was very clean and had everything you would need. From the terrace you could see the ocean and hear the waves. The location was convenient, walking to the beach took less than 5 minutes and there were restaurants and a small grocery store all within a 15 or 20 minute walk. Even Mario, the driver they set us up with to take us to and from the airport was so nice and gave us a lot of information about the area on the drive. We would absolutely recommend others stay here for a perfect getaway in playa hermosa.

We really enjoyed our stay at Susan and Tim’s residence!! I liked that the views were beautiful, the space was clean, neat and had all of the basic toiletries we needed it’s also Insanely picturesque!! It’s walking distance from the beach and there are some really great restaurants nearby and along the beach!! This was Everything we were looking for and exceeded our expectations! Susan was super responsive even though I booked last minute she still responded right away and was super knowledgeable on places in the area!! I highly recommend this place!!

Very comfortable bed and super clean, the hosts were very responsive. The temp got up to high 30's so it was nice to have the air conditioning and fans.

Tim and Susan are great hosts, communication was great and the accommodation was perfectly clean and luxurious. Everything about Ylang Ylang exceeded our expectations and it was a great place to relax at the end of our Costa Rica adventure with just a 30 minute drive to the airport. Thank you so much!

The spirit of Pura Vida was present from start to finish with Tim and Susan from the communication before we arrived, during our stay and upon preparing to leave. We were in great need of R and R and the location, the marvelous early mornings listening to the amazing variety of birds and even the Howler monkeys from the deck, the easy access to the beach and well recommended restaurants provided what we sought in that part of Costa Rican paradise. The kitchen had most of what we needed, the A/C worked wonderfully in 90+ degree weather, the view was fantastic and the entire place immaculate. We really enjoyed meeting Grettel, their greeter who graciously was flexible about our arrival time and gave us a helpful and reassuring “tour” of the place. We recommend Ylang Ylang wholeheartedly!
