This was by far one of the most tranquil places I have stayed. My husband and I were there to have a weekend get away. We only left once and reluctantly at best. The space is bright and cheerful and we felt so at home. The tub outside is a must for the evening. I watched the sun set and the stars come up from that tub :) We would love to return again. The beds were comfortable, the shower is huge! All the attention to detail made us feel held and well taken care of. Thank you so much for such a wonderful re-connection time, we will never forget it!

This was one of my wife’s favorite places to stay so far. We will be back. Jacqui was super responsive and ran at every opportunity to make our stay even better. We loved seeing the fish. Those catfish are pretty big! The place was clean, the sunrise and sunsets were great! Her goats were fun for our 5 year old, the upstairs porch was peaceful and the furniture throughout looked amazing. Thank you and we hope to be back.

excellent stay! beautiful home, decorated beautifully and maintained with pristine detail. The entire home and all spaces were incredibly clean. it was the most comfortable space to stay in and come back to every day after trekking around the area. thank you for an excellent stay Jacqui 💕

We loved our Thanksgiving stay at Hireath cottage! What a special place. I miss the beautiful view from the second floor already! Our family of 4 (two kids ages 5 and 7) were very comfortable in the house. The 2 bedrooms are on diff levels, so keep that in mind, was no issue for us. My in laws stayed in one of the cabins on the same property (they have two cabins just a three min walk down the road as separate listings). We cooked our entire Thanksgiving dinner in the cottage - this is truly a well stocked rental home kitchen! The hosts even brought over a table and chairs for us to use on the pond deck because it was such a beautiful day and eating outside was spectacular! On other days, we went hiking, saw the Biltmore, cooked s’mores by the fire pit, visited the goats, chickens and cows, and had a great time doing puzzles and games in the downstairs living room. The boys loved running up and down the big hill next to the pond too. Highly recommend!
