Louie’s Place is absolutely adorable! If you want to get away for family vacay without that “tourist” feel this island is perfect! It is still close enough on boat to explore the Thousand Islands and enjoy all of the St Lawrence! Our family enjoyed the comfortable beds, living room, and patio. Had tons of outdoor seating and room to spread out while still giving that cottage feel. Loved the antiquities gathered by the owner, truly helped understand and appreciate the times! The bathroom and kitchen essentials were by far above and beyond! Thank you for allowing us to create lasting memories with our family at your family’s vacation pride!

It was a perfect experience from start to finish. The Cottage was much bigger than expected and Grenell Island is pure Magic!!!! Louie was a fantastic host and very generous with his time and offerings. We plan to make this a yearly visit. Thanks, Louie :)

Louie and Dayna are EXCELLENT hosts. We were able to check-in early. We can always reach out to them when I’m need. Responses are always quick and helpful. We always enjoy staying here for our annual “guys” fishing trip. Thanks again Louie and Dayna! See you in 2024.

Great island, great place, larger than expected. Don’t let the close proximity of the other houses scare you, the neighbors are great and it’s one big happy community on the island that is warm and inviting to guests. The dock comfortably fit our two boats and the beds comfortably slept our 10 people. The steep ladder to the 4th bedroom loft was the only surprise. It was a loud creaky ladder going up and down for the bedroom below, which was the only minor issue. Great place overall, we’ll be back.
