Thành and his family made our Ninh Binh trip truly memorable. The Homestay was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Thành’s guided tours, including the Night Bagota tour, added a unique touch to our experience. While the included breakfast was delightful, it’s worth noting that lunch and dinner, though delicious, were not included and felt a bit pricey for what was offered. Consider exploring local eateries for a variety of dining experiences. The only drawback was the nightly smoke from neighbour’s’ outdoor fires affecting the room, causing a great deal of discomfort for my asthma. Thành did his best to address it. So request a room away from the smoke. Additionally, be prepared for an early wake-up call from the neighboring rooster. Despite these minor inconveniences, our overall stay felt warm and homely.

We stayed for a couple of days at Ninh Binh. Given Ninh Binh has very less hotels or homestays, this is one of the finest places to stay. Key callouts: 1. Scott is a superhost. He helped us arrange transport right from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, transport and packages for trips within Ninh Binh, best recommendations in Ninh Binh and also transfer back from Ninh Binh. 2. The place is spotlessly clean. We went there in December which was quite cold and the best part there was a room heater which made the stay very pleasant. 3. The decor of the homestay was very nice. There was a nice pool but we couldn't use it since it was winter. 4. Scott was very responsive and answered all my queries at ease. The only thing which I felt needed improvement was: 1. Complimentary breakfast spread was very average. 2. Paid dinner is a bit on the expensive side. Overall I will highly recommend this place.

Thành was absolutely amazing, we had the best time of our holiday so far. He took us to see all the beautiful places in Ninh Binh and organised EVERYTHING for us. His wife’s cooking is incredible we were so well fed it was so yummy and she’s so sweet. The rooms were pristine clean and comfy and the actual garden and pool area is stunning. A few of us arrived sick and they were so accommodating and looked after us with tea and healthy soup. Highly highly recommend staying here.

Scott is an involved host rather than an airbnb owner. He helped us plan our days and bedside he didn’t have too many guests he even took us around personally. Scott was attentive and flexible , suggesting alternatives as per the groups mood. He even recommended a herbal bath across the road from the property which my family of four enjoyed after a day of cycling, boating and some walking. The rooms were clean. My teenage boys enjoyed the small pool. Do remember this is the countryside so wake up to bird sounds and roosters crowing and prepare to encounter some harmless creatures along the way!
