This was my second time staying at Mark’s place. My husband and I brought friends and rented the cabin and bungalow and had an amazing time. Mark does such a great job anticipating guest’s needs and sets everything up for ease and comfort. The property is truly stunning. We hiked on the private trails and checked out the ruins— it’s such a treat to be able to see this landscape away from the crowds of national parks! Mark is also very friendly and accommodating, my friends car battery died and he helped us out hugely with a jump. Still one of my top Airbnbs to book! I look forward to returning again!

Love this little gem! Beautiful surroundings, quaint, peaceful, lots of trails and pretty things to see. Mark is an amazing host, friendly, kind, welcoming, and makes us feel right at home. I wish we could visit more often. Mark gives lots of recommendations and the properties are lovely. Perfect getaway! Mark has all of the details taken care of. We loved the extras: spices, basic pantry items, flashlights, guide books, big spray, sunscreen, hats, outdoor blankets, chairs, hammocks, etc. This place has everything!

I wish I could keep this place all to myself. This is an absolute hidden gem. This place was charming with so many thoughtful touches. Mark was such a great host and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. We stayed in the Bungalow and our friends in the Airstream. The Bungalow was very comfortable and our friends had great things to say about the Airstream. Both locations are super close so it's fun to come with friends. It's very quiet and secluded and absolutely perfect for star-gazing and relaxing. Mark made a referral for someone that does massages and we treated ourselves to outdoor massages and it was wonderful. The kitchen was well-equipped to cook in and we loved the hammocks at the properties. We spent an entire day being lazy and swaying the day away. The property is very clean, beautiful, and so many lovely places to enjoy a morning Cuppa or an evening glass of wine. The flowers and garden were swarming with hummingbirds and we loved our mornings watching them drink nectar. Highly recommend checking out Sutcliffe Winery in the area. We enjoyed their wine whilst watching the sunsets. I have nothing but great things to say. Can't wait for this to be our annual getaway. ♡

This place is incredible. Both the cabin and the bungalow are decorated with such attention to detail, it will keep you looking around for more things to make you smile! It has an easy check in, check out, off the grid but easy to find, extremely clean and surrounded by gorgeous canyons. Clear nights gave me the opportunity to view billions of stars and the Milky Way. What a getaway!

This place is worth a million, so if you can stay there for a few hundred dollars, consider it a bargain! Incredible hospitality, extremely clean, fascinating hikes and unsurpassed star shows! Don’t live your life without experiencing a stay at Mark’s hideout and/or bungalow! I will go again and again.
