Space, peace and quiet, lovely well equipped cottage, games room and pool! What we wanted and what we thoroughly enjoyed. Great hosts, always at the ready. Great for slightly older kids who can do their own thing playing ping pong etc. Big recommend!

Notre séjour (trop court !) chez Carol et Rick a été tout simplement parfait ! Que ce soit la maison, la piscine, la salle de jeux et le parc avec l’étang, tout était formidable ! Carol et Rick sont adorables, et hier Carol nous a gentiment amenés voir les chevreuils voisins, moment magique ! Vraiment un très grand merci à eux, nous reviendrons avec plaisir si nous le pouvons ! Une dernière bise à Trickle !

Nous avons passé un séjour parfait. le cadre est vraiment exceptionnel, c'était très agréable. Rick et Carol sont très gentils et accueillants.

What a place! What a stay! Wisdom gites was exactly as advertised, a haven of peace in a beautiful, quieter area of France. The accommodation was large, clean and very well equipped with everything you need. The games room was a real hit with our kids, and the pool was lovely, with great views across the property and surrounding countryside. Rick and Carol, are lovely hosts, who manage to balance being available, and helpful, without ever being obtrusive. They were so friendly, making us feel part of the family, they provided useful local information, getting us a free SUP experience to booking restaurants, and recommending things to see and do. The Vienne region is quieter than some other areas, but still lots to do, so we never got bored, we went kayaking, and swimming on the river, visited the Valley of the Monkeys (recommended), walked and cycled around the surrounding area. An amazing place, and would strongly recommend it! Well deserved 5 Stars!!
