Beautifully decorated, this artist loft is a unique open space configured to have a kitchen, a dining area, a living room and a office space, two sleeping areas, a bathroom and a separate WC. Oak floors, exposed beams and 3 skylights make the space very pleasant to live with lots of volume and light. In the back, you overlook a garden with trees. Days are filled with birdsong. On the livingroom side, facing southwest, a landscape of Parisian roofs, stretching as far as the Pantheon. Beautifully decorated, this atypical loft is a large open space with a kitchen, a dining area, living room, office space, a sleeping area with a single bed and bathroom on the ground floor and a second sleeping area with a double bed on the mezzanine overlooking the living room. The apartment has oak hardwood floors, exposed architectural elements like original oak beams and 3 skylights which make the space very pleasant to live with lots of volume and light. The apartment has double orientation; northeast and southwest. Add the three skylights, you have light all day long and even at night if there is a full moon. The kitchen is fully equipped with washer/dryer and dish washer. There is high-speed fibre optic internet with free local/mobile calls and free calls to international landlines. The bathroom has a bathtub. The toilet is separate. The street itself is very calm with very little circulation. The building is situated in a courtyard and looks over a large garden in the back so you are sheltered from the noise of the city. It's close to all transports; metro, bus, velib. You have access to the entire apartment. The apartment is perfect for a single person or a couple, possibly with an older child. The apartment is not appropriate for guests with toddlers as there is a mezzanine. Older kids or babies are OK. I am available to help with any questions during your stay.

This is a really cozy and comfortable apartment in a super location. Everything went extremely smoothly and I am sad to leave. Highly recommended.

The apartment is situated within the triangle of the trendy areas Oberkampf, Belleville and Canal Saint Martin. It is a residential neighborhood with multiple nationalities, young bobo Parisians and artists. There are great restaurants (not touristy), cafes and bars and galleries. The cultural center Maison de Metallos is just down the street. Two beautiful parks are just a short walk away--Park de Belleville 5 minutes, Buttes Chaumont 15min.
The neighborhood is great for eating out or drinks.

As for organic supermarkets, you have Bio C' Bon two blocks away on 142, rue Saint-Maur.
There are several street markets during the week as well...
The closest metro stations are Belleville (lines 2 and 11) and Couronnes (line 2) (equidistant). A little further are St. Maur and Parmentier (line 3). The bus line 96 is just down the street which goes to Gare Montparnasse passing through the Marais, Hotel de Ville, the islands (Ile de la Cite) St Michel, Odeon/St Germain and Place St Sulpice.
