Full of rustic charm this little stone cottage enjoys glorious rural views from its vine clad terrace across the sloping gardens to the woods beyond. Four steps lead down from the public footpath through a private gateway to the first terrace. The second terrace with garden furniture, looks over enclosed gardens. The cottage is accessed through french patio doors to an open-plan living room/kitchen. A hallway leads to a bathroom - bath tub with shower attachment and at the end is an open plan compact bedroom with one double bed, all on one level. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker microwave and fridge. Full bed linen and towels are supplied

We had a lovely stay in Diannes cottage. It’s small but charming and has everything for a successful stay. Dianne and John are very friendly and more than willing to help in every way! The countryside is beautiful and the cottage is perfectly located for days out!!

We had the best time at Dianne’s cottage! The cottage is placed in beautiful surroundings and we loved the beautiful wakes around Churchill. Close to the beach (20 min drive to Lyme Regis). Dianne and John are lovely hosts and looked after us very well.

As a first time solo traveler Dianne and Johns cottage was perfectly located and had everything I needed for a restful trip. Dianne was very friendly and recommended some places to visit. I had my own private access with a patio area that attracted the sun all day. I would highly recommend and would love to visit again.

This cottage is a great touring base from which to explore Devon, Somerset and Dorset. The nearby Jurrasic coast is popular with walkers and fossil hunters, while public footpaths direct from the bridleway makes this an ideal walking location for dogs and their owners. A short drive (3 miles) into Axminster, you will find Tesco and Cooperative supermarkets for food shopping. There are Cafes and pubs for eating out and also take away services. Pets At Home and petrol stations are located on the outskirts of the town. Lyme Regis is the nearest sea side town only just a few miles from Axminster where you can paddle board or book for fishing trips around Lyme Bay.

Mainline trains run every hour from London Waterloo to Axminster and to Exeter and Airport. Connecting services from Exeter to Plymouth, Cornwall and Bath. Local buses to coast.
