The cabin home was at the top of a mountain in a wooded area of Murphy, NC has beautiful scenery. The bed was comfortable and clean, the private bathroom with stand up shower was clean. I love coffee so I enjoyed the Keurig coffee maker for my morning go-go juice. There were at least two different ways to get up and down the mountain. We did the driving in my '08 Chevy Malibu, no problems. Joe's doggies were sweet :) it's always nice to have pets and the house common areas were clean/organized. What surprised me was the communication of us getting to the cabin, there was a huge storm and being from the Detroit-metro area of Michigan we were not used to the windy mountainous roads. So we took our time and I gave screenshot ETA's text to Paulette and Joe. Making sure we got in ok made us feel welcome! Thank you!!

“Exceptional hospitality” by Joe! Thank you for the bonfire and conversations over both nights we stayed. Beautiful cabin in the middle of the woods with very convenient access to the highway and nearby attractions. We went whitewater rafting on Ocoee river, which in my opinion is a must-do activity for people who are interested in nature adventure. Overall, highly recommended for anybody who wants to visit. Worth way more than the money we spent. Thanks again Joe!

This loft was beautiful. Just a short drive up from the highway where all the food is. He view from the loft bed looking over the mountains was breathtaking to wake up to each morning. We could even see the sunrise from the comfort of the bed. Our host provided so much for us. Coffee, some snacks, suggestions of things to do, privacy, a friendly welcome from him and his dogs and even set us up with a roaring fire. We were traveling to Murphy for a wedding at the Hackney Warehouse which was less than a 5 minute drive away which was perfect. It’s right near some fast food and local restaurants too. The cabin was a dream and the hospitality was through the charts. We’d definitely stay here if we made a return to Murphy! Thanks again for everything!

Views from the cabin were incredible. Joseph was kind and welcoming and had a bunch of tips for the area to do. Great hospitality, little added touches of amenities were nice. Very clean. Loft is open air to the living room, but is fine as long as you're not a super light sleeper. Great place all in all.
