We wanted to get away where we could be on the water and have privacy - this place lived up to both. We would highly recommend to anybody looking for a well laid out cottage, on the water, with a private lot to families or just a couple. It’s close to Montague and a short drive to Basin Head Beach. We absolutely loved it !!

This was a perfect getaway and so accommodating for the whole family. Our 2 year old enjoyed finding all kinds of shells and rocks down at the water. The cottage was close enough to be able to explore so much on the eastern coast, but honestly with the view from the cottage we could have spent our whole time at the property. Very cozy place. The host was awesome, even with a short weekend stay they checked in with a phone call and gave us recommendations for the area.

The place is gorgeous, peaceful and quite and away from everything. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Jeff suggested to hand pick clams from in front of the cottage and it was a fun thing to do, as family.Now , Our last day of staying, we asked if we could possibly have a late check out, in which jeff said it was ok and we have before supper to check out … Around 10am ( still before regular check out which is 11 am ) a gentleman knocked on the door and asked who I was and if jeff told me he was supposed to fix some pipes in the cottage , I was unaware but also told him if he need it come inside, but he said “no, it’s ok, will called jeff to reschedule “ couple minutes passed and jeff texted me an unpleasant rude text. Turned out the plumber said I didn’t let him come in. Bc of that, jeff left me a very rude text without having all the facts. He apologized at the end, but the damage was done. We left, with a sweet and sour experience due to lack of professionalism.

Their place was beyond my expectations. The “water toys” and supply of kid toys was really something! There was so much space outside and in. Very private. Walks on the beach were every morning with my dog. Swimming was great! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would have liked a big lobster pot though:)

Jeff and Mary Ann’s place was beautiful and secluded. We had inquired about a bbq which we were told there was one but found it was broken and unusable the whole length of our stay which was unfortunate. The beds could use a upgrade. Other than that we all had a great family vacation, explored and found some beautiful beaches close by, and the dogs absolutely loved it! Thank you!
