This was a perfect find for our walking and dining group. A very large, well appointed, comfortable character property with an interesting history and beautifully furnished by a well travelled family. Just off the main road with fantastic views to the rear and an ideal network of public pathways to explore the country side on the way to Frome and the nearby villages/pubs etc.

We had the most amazing stay in this lovely house. A stunning garden to spend time outside and the house itself was incredible with comfortable mattresses and everything you need for a group. Our hosts were very welcoming and flexible. Would highly recommend and will definitely come again. Thank you!

We had a wonderful weekend, the accommodation was huge and plentiful for our (relatively large) group! The house is divided into 2 double bedrooms one end (above the kitchen), and a double and twin bedrooms, with the top floor containing the "kids" bedroom (4 single beds) and a double bedroom. The kids had a wonderful time exploring the house, and taking full control of the basement room where they could play and cause mischief away from the parents! For smaller children the steps down are slightly steep, but there's a (beautiful wooden) child gate at the top of the stairs with a lock for any concerns. Stairs off the main hall also had a similar child gate with a lock so there's plenty of safety features already built into the house. The grounds were great, there's a large garden, and then wildlands stretching out down the hill which allows for plenty of playing outdoors (if the weather is good!) Phoebe was excellent with her communication and Alexia on site was friendly and helpful
