While looking through the AllTrails app in search of long trail to tackle on my road bike I came across the Paul Bunyan state trail there in Minnesota I decided to spend a month in the area. Seeking out an ideal location I decided to book in Backus, MN. at Renae’s lakefront Hideaway and was, again, pleased with my choice of Airbnb options. Knowing the cold weather risks of the time of year booking I did get a substantial amount of 🚴‍♂️ in. On the colder days I walked/hiked many parts of the trail to get my, ‘activity a day’ in. As far as my Airbnb choice I could not be more happier with the Hideaway. Plenty of privacy, the place was, white glove, clean with all the necessities needed for a comfortable month’s stay. A nice sized refrigerator, with newer nonstick pans and utensils. A grocery store within a 6mile drive. Bathroom was very clean and great water pressure for hot showers. If I decide to come back I would definitely book another at the Hideaway. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Host, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Accommodations

Beautiful, clean apartment that was quiet. Slept like a baby. Only negative comment, I had no way of getting back in if I locked the door.

Spacious, comfortable, beautiful location on the lake, well appointed kitchen. Everything you need as a couple, or even a small family. So nice to be able to hang out with our dogs too! Thank you!

Nice and quiet place! I launched my boat and was able to keep it at the dock for fishing or floating during the day. Beautiful place for a bonfire and the host was easy to talk to and helpful!

A wonderful Labor Day stay. Renae was very hospitality to us and our pup. We enjoyed being able to use the fire pit on the lake front, the dock for our boat, and lounge on her deck in the shade. We enjoyed our morning walks down the main road and saw deer and an osprey. Renae has a beautiful view & property. Renae truly made us feel right at home and the apartment had everything we needed! We will definitely be planning to go back!
