Overall, the home was a nice place to stay at a good price, and in a lovely neighborhood. Jeanie was a thoughtful, responsive host. My major complaint is that the guest bedroom smelled strongly of cat urine. There were a couple of small annoyances like the master bathroom outlet didn’t work and the tv remote was dead.

A spacious, well appointed apartment in a great location, but our stay was marred by the fact that the previous guest had a cat which he left behind in the unit. It had peed in the smaller bedroom where we stayed. The odor was noticeable as soon as we entered the apartment. The cat was not found and removed until the second day we were there. Jeanie told us she'd noticed an odor when she was in the place. After our arrival she brought various sprays from Pet Smart to alleviate the odor. This helped, but the smell of cat urine remained the entire time we were there and made the back bedroom very unpleasant. The apartment has a unit above so you hear footsteps now and then, but nothing bothersome. The master bedroom is huge, the second one much smaller. Very large space with well-stocked kitchen, and the location is ideal (St. Charles trolley, Magazine Ave.). Jeanie was a very pleasant host, but we regretted she did not take steps to clean the rug with the cat urine before we arrived.

Fantastic home. Exactly as described. Beautiful, clean, and inviting. It is in a great neighborhood. Jeanie is a terrific host. Responsive, friendly, helpful. Could not ask for more. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a great place to stay. Everything you could need, grocery, drugstore, restaurants, public transportation are right there. The unit has character and functions. Each bedroom has its own bathroom so it would perfect for two couples. Jeanie was always available and gave us great tips. The unit has "southern charm" and the neighborhood was nice and calm, a great place to unwind after time in New Orleans tourist area.

My wife and I had a great time at Jeanie's house! very spacious, quiet area, close to restaurants and full of amenities! We will happily return to his home if we return to New Orleans
