We had a great time staying at Anna and Jim’s place over the Christmas holidays. The house was charming, having been festively decorated for the holidays. It was so cozy and clean, we felt right at home. The location was great too - a beautiful walk into Edgemont village and only a short drive to the amenities of downtown Vancouver. We will absolutely be back! Thanks Anna and Jim!
Anna was proactive and very communicative, there were clear instructions and local recs. As others mentioned, this house was like staying with a relative. We felt welcomed and while the house is lived in, there was dedicated space in some areas for our belongings. Our packing process was a bit different because of that as we took extra time to be sure the only items packed by the 5 y/o were actually ours (hehe). She had a blast with the plethora of toys and kid-friendliness of the home. There were plenty of dishes and utensils for our group of five and we loved the location. The walking trail was used every day! I would not recommend this stay for those with dust allergies (as the local pharmacy helped me make it through house-bound times) but the closeness to shops and beautiful scenery had us out of the house most of the time anyway.
Anna is a wonderful host, who is friendly and very responsive. Her home is set in a beautiful location at the base of the mountains. The backyard is a lovely spot to relax or play. Local shops and restaurants are close by. We enjoyed our time there.
We had a fabulous time for our family of six at Anna & Jim’s place. They were extremely pleasant hosts, very responsive and the house was clean, cozy and the views were amazing. The backyard is a dream and the location is close to shops, activities and only 15 minutes to the waterfront restaurants and marina. We would definitely recommend staying here. The kitchen is large as are the three bedrooms and there is plenty of room to eat, sit and relax both inside and outside. The dedicated kids playroom is also great. Absolutely enjoyed our stay in North Vancouver at the House on Grouse Mountain! Thank you Anna & Jim!
Excellent location. Stunning backyard which grandchildren loved. Kitchen modern and fully equipped. Anna is an amazing host always communicating with me. Enjoyed our stay.

My husband Jim and I love to travel and have done so extensively.We enjoy visiting other countries and meet all kinds of different people. We live in North Vancouver ,Canada. We have raised five beautiful children who are now all successfully living on their own,so we have an empty nest and lots of time to explore this amazing planet. One day we hope to take our 7 Precious grandchildren on some of our adventures. As we travel it's important to feel comfortable and independent and so far our Airbnb stays have been terrific. We are excited also to now host travellers in our home and share the beauty of North Vancouver and its amazing surroundings. My husband Jim is a mechanical engineer and is now fully retired.His main jobs have dealt with commercial heating and air conditioning retrofits of commercial buildings including pools and community centres. My main working years were with special needs students within the academic setting. So as the years fly by we want to make the most of our healthy years and travel as much as the universe will allow us! Looking forward to many more Airbnb travel experiences and hostessing other adventurous travellers in our home.
