Don is an excellent host. The place was clean, quiet and a great place to walk our dogs. Easy driving to Mayville, Bemis Point and Jamestown area. We would definitely go back.

If you're looking for an out of the way place to enjoy Bemus and Chautauqua this place is great. It is very quiet and secluded. Bemus point is not far away. You will have to drive a bit to get to Lakewood and most of the stores. Be prepared to do some shopping to save trips into town. Don is a great host and makes sure you have everything you need. Don keeps the property immaculately cleaned. I would certainly recommend this location if you're in the area and looking for something quiet. Only a minor suggestion would be to improve the WiFi inside the unit, streaming can be a bit tough but it works for usual web page viewing, again that is minor.

Don’s place was immaculately clean. The grounds around the house were beautifully taken care of. A very peaceful place from which to explore the surroundings (Chautauqua, Bemus Point, etc.). An easy drive to any and all attractions. Don was not available at check in, but he requested a call when we arrived. He walked us through all the ins and outs of his place and gave advice as to the various eating options close by, He couldn’t have been more gracious and helpful. A big thumbs up to Don and his home!
