Great location, minutes from the slopes!

We had a great stay. Both the unit and location were spot on for our needs. While expensive, it was worth it for the added convenience of being able to walk to the slopes. We would gladly stay here again.

Skiing with accommodations right at the lift is going to be expensive. But we had a great time, the unit was beautiful and spotless and the front door was maybe 50 ft from the slopes with a lift another 50 feet or so down the slope (the unit is at the top rather than the bottom of the mountain). They warn you that they provide very few staples in the kitchen and bathroom but we were still surprised about a few things (coffee maker but no coffee filters?) — so even if you bring lots of stuff for the kitchen you can expect to have to make several runs to the grocery store. That said, the kitchen was really nice, we cooked most of our own meals and everything worked. We loved the wood burning fireplace which worked great and there was free firewood and kindling available in a shed out in the parking lot. And our family of 4 with two adult kids had plenty of room (2 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs and a foldout couch and half bath downstairs). FYI if you’ve never been to Snowshoe be aware that the main ski area — where the condo is — shuts down the lifts at 4:30 and during COVID they are limiting lift tickets. We couldn’t ski there on our last day because all passes where completely reserved. However, the condo is just 5-6 minutes from the other, smaller ski area, Silver Creek, which has night skiing until 9 and which was not sold out of lift tickets.

This was by far one of the best ski in/ski out places I have stayed. I liked the room dedicated to ski gear. Made it much easier.
