We really enjoyed our stay in Carmen's Artist Studio - a very nice, cozy, well-equipped and clean place, decorated with lovely artwork! A marina is within walking distance. We would always stay there, when we come back to Spanish one day. Merci!

A really sweet little cabin with everything you could want in there. Very colourful with lots of interesting items. Carmen was very friendly and lovely to talk to.

This is a gem of a place--charming, quiet, close to the local marina. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Carmen's art, her story and that of the local community, and also our climb up the stairs near the marina, where one can look out over Lake Huron.

We loved staying at Carmen’s place. It is set on a beautiful property within walking distance of the Spanish River. The cabin was really unique, full of personal touches and Carmen’s artwork. It felt lived-in and cared for. Unlike some other nondescript AirBnBs, Carmen’s place reflects the people and the area. We would come back!

Everything about this cottage is delightful, magical even. Carmen's art makes the place truly one of a kind. The decor and furnishings were beautiful. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable. Carmen has made the most of the small space. We had everything we needed and more. The setting is beautiful. A great place for birdwatching. Nice short walk to the Marina. My only regret is that we were there for just one night. I'd have loved to stay longer!
