The owner was helpful and polite. She was great - even though we had a huge misunderstanding about the privateness of the Villa. The Villa is directly located on the street. People can walk by and high 5 you, while you‘re in the pool. Its also loud, since cars and motorbikes drive by. The Villa was maybe luxury 10 years ago, but not anymore. The furnitures are dilapidated, the Villa wasnt clean, the windows havent been cleaned in ages and there were stains on the sheet and a long hair on the bed. We stayed one night and canceled the other 6 nights due to the privateness and cleanliness of the Villa. The view of the Villa is great, it has a lot of potential - but there is a lot of work to do. I think, thats the Villa has been forgotten during the pandemic and not been taken care of afterwards. They just rent it out to make money. The Villa is also on a hill. Without a motorbike, you‘ll be lost there. No restaurants or shops in walking distance.

Our stay at Villa Tiara was amazing...very beautiful view and big space for a group of friends...The host Tania was wonderful, always helpful and there for us...I totally recommend Villa Tiara...

Quite a disappointing stay at Villa Tiara. Good communication with the manager but overall not a memorable stay. Here are our pros and cons: Pros: - Amazing view of the Sengiggi bay and of the volcanos of Bali - Nice pool - Good location if you have your own transportation - spacious rooms and living area - Good responsiveness from the Manager when we had requests - Massage was good but overpriced Cons: The villa is old and outdated and obviously requires some painting and deep cleaning. Which is something difficult to identify from the photos of the listing. At arrival the villa was really dirty and despite our request to the Manager it remained dirty during the whole stay: hair balls, used band-aids next to the swimming pool, gums stuck on the floor, fridge is just really disgusting and the cleaning standards just shocking. Breakfast is far away from being "rich and delicious" as mentioned in the listing...Indonesian breakfast will be a sad fried rice for everyone and continental breakfast will be an oily omelette. So nothing really doing justice to Indonesian cuisine... and no possibility to have indonesian and continental breakfast on the same day. Bed sheets were missing when we arrived. AC was very noisy in one room but was fixed the next day as soon as we informed the villa Manager. Laundry took longer than announced and were more expensive than quoted. Villa Manager not onsite but reachable by whatsapp. Anyway our experience would have been much more positive if at least the cleaning level would have been taken more in consideration. The view is great but I don't think I would stay in this villa again.
