The Purdy Cabin has been one of my favorite get away spots I have found on Airbnb. April was an amazing host. Her local knowledge and suggestions made for a wonderful experience. The cabin’s location was peaceful and serene. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
The place was beautiful. Lots of humming birds and nature. Great location too.

very peacefull get away location, if you love birds, hummingbirds and nature, you have all this. cabin is attached, but does have a private side and fenced yard. host was very helpful on check in
April was a friendly host. Close to all the main float companies. Her place was clean, had extra amenities & was peaceful. Would stay here again.

I moved back to my hometown, Tahlequah when I retired from teaching. I turned our family vacation home on the Illinois river into a guest house as a way to make it possible to live in the place I love. I enjoy the peaceful life living close to nature, on the water, enjoying birds and wildlife.
