Had a weekend here with friends over bank holiday. Good size rooms and lots of fresh towels/bedding. Could be cleaner, the hoover was useless. There were a few issues on arrival - no kettle, couldnt find bbq, but these were sorted quickly. The property also didnt have a microwave as advertised. Lovely area and short walk to pub homemade food at really reasonable prices! Plenty of parking and outside space lovely if a bit dark! The hot tub was ready when we arrived and we enjoyed this. Minus the blue bits of plastic that seem to be floating in it! There were plentiful glasses but really lacking on plate/bowl front. No side plates at all! Overall we had a lovely stay. Thank you

Landlady was lovely and very helpful especially late at night, she was happy to help where she could. Lovely cottage, very clean and had everything ready and laid out for us. Lovely area and friendly locals especially at the pub. Would recommend going there and would definitely go back.

We had a great stay in Saxthorpe! The house was clean and tidy and was in a beautiful location. We could have done with a few more plates, bowls and mugs for the 7 of us but other than that it was excellent.

The cottage was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very welcoming. High quality beds, bed lined and towels. A lovely enclosed garden area and outdoor furniture, plenty of private parking and a quiet and picturesque village. We couldn’t fault the house. We booked to use the hot tub at £150 extra. Unfortunately, despite being told it would be ready on arrival the hot tub was not hot and didn’t get hot until the following morning. Also it was full of bits of blue plastic - probably from some cleaning products or a bag that had disintegrated. I tried to clean out as much as I could and we did use it but the bits of plastic stuck to our skin and it wasn’t very nice so we didn’t use it again. £150 seems like a rip off for a hot tub we couldn’t really use. I did highlight this with the agent and was given a net to fish it out but that was it.
