Had a great time at this lovely cabin with great views! Unfortunately a few uninvited guests had snuck in (2 bats and a lizard) that we had to evict from the property, and during our stay internet (wifi and TV) was put. This wasn't problematic for us as there was so much nature around to explore. Emma provided good recommendations for local dining possibilities.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Emma’s cabin! We booked last minute and Emma was so responsive and flexible with our check in. The place felt really private and quiet and the views were absolutely beautiful. The inside was so cozy and we really loved playing the board games that were provided by the lovely fireplace. The Nintendo and downstairs basketball game were also lots of fun! It was such a nice retreat, yet close to town. We visited during the Whiskey Flats festival and had a blast, and loved having a peaceful, quiet place to come back to. The gated backyard was really great, our pup loved it and we also really enjoyed being able to hike right from the back gate. Emma was really accommodating and responsive throughout our stay and was gracious with a later check out :) Bed was comfy and coffee was provided, as well as everything you need to cook. We only wish we could have stayed longer and can’t wait to return for the summer time!

We loved our stay at Emma's cabin. Close to the Kern and the best part was hiking right from the cabin.

Emma's Place was the getaway we needed as a family. So peaceful and great location. Had a small hiccup but host was absolutely amazing in responding and getting it taken care of. Hope to come back in the summer to enjoy the river. Cabin was ABSOLUTLEY CLEAN! LOVED IT
