We love St Catherine’s Lake. The week we spend their is our favorite vacation !! The house can use some TLC in kitchen and window cleaning/spider spray in the bedrooms. Other then that Ben was a great host enjoyed the house for all of us. Thank you !!

After camping in the state park most of my life we finally decided to stay in a real house on the lake and this house was everything we needed, from the breathtaking views and having a dock for our small boats along with a large yard for our dog we really enjoyed our time there.

We enjoyed this large and beautiful house on the lake during our family vacation. The setting is perfect and the lawn area is very large with many lawn chairs and tables. The fire pit next to the lake was one of the highlights of the week. The house is well equipped with all the necessary amenities to enjoy your stay.

Situated at an uncannily picturesque position along Lake St. Catherine, location really is the star of this stay. In fact, it's probably best to keep your eyes focused on the shoreline so as to avoid looking too closely at the details of the house, itself. A house that can be described as 'entirely adequate' at best, 'rather ragged around the edges' at worst, the place shows its age. While pleasant, overall, the quality of our time here was diminished by numerous inoperable appliances (one broken dishwasher & three air conditioner units), sour-smelling sheets on a bed that may recently have been slept in, leftover hair on the wall of a shower, and a door that leaked heavily during a rain storm. To his credit, our host, Ben, was very easy to work with and was kind enough to stop by and inspect the leaky door. But we had neither forewarning nor resolution to the broken dishwasher that resulted in hours of hand-washing nor to the air conditioner units that caused at least one bedroom to become uninhabitable. Near-redeeming factors were: a perfectly-placed lakeside fire pit, a hard-working patio grill, and two available watercraft (kayak & paddleboat). These were delightful. Our advice to the future guest: keep your gaze to the horizon.

Our first Airbnb stay and we already can’t wait to go back! Ben’s place truly embraces the saying “mi casa es tu casa” as we were completely at home in his generously stocked house. Seriously, I have never stayed anywhere and felt so at home as I did here. The views from the house were spectacular and the whole family had so much fun on the lake.
