Individual lakefront villa located at Sanctuary Lakes Fauna Retreat surrounded by 10 acres of lush nature reserve teeming with wildlife. Each villa is self-contacted with a kitchenette and microwave with a balcony overlooking the lake. Studio villa sleeps 3 guests with a queen and single bed in the main living area. Our property is a fauna reserve located on a 10 acre property (including a lake). Each cabin has a balcony offering privacy from other guests with a lake view so you can sit with a coffee or a wine and watch the water birds play. We are a very quiet place and a great escape away for people living in the busy city or those who just want some quiet time to rest and reflect.

Such a hidden gem. Loved it. Can’t believe I drive to Hervey Bay weekly and haven’t stayed here. Thankyou Deb and her huspband. Great communicators and hosts of such a well thought out multi single dwelling setup :)
Great place to stay to access Frasier island. food places are a bit of a distance, but easy accessable via car.

We are a short 300m walk to the local beach.
Kondari Hotel is right next door for meals and our guests have a private entrance to that property.
There are plenty of cafes within 1km - so great for a short walk,
Urangan Peir, the Botanic Gardens and a Woolworths supermarket and service station are all within 1km as well.
Other restaurants, pubs and tour operators have courtesy buses that will collect from our front gate - please see reception if you need assistance booking any of these.
Tours for K'gari (Fraser Island), whale watching and other adventures can be made with us in reception or via the link in your confirmation email.
